G20 Osaka Summit 2019 Environmental Initiatives

Marine pollution on a global scale is a significant concern; it has been reported that there may be more plastic than fish in the ocean in 2050. Japan, as a nation surrounded by oceans, is seriously addressing this urgent issue. The G20 Osaka Summit actively supports the Plastics Smart initiatives and works on separation and recycling of wastes based on the idea of the “3Rs(Reduce, Reuse and Recycle)” + “Renewable”.

Allow us to introduce some of the environmental initiatives implemented at the venue during the G20 Osaka Summit.
