The W20 is one of the G20’s engagement groups comprised of women from academia, entrepreneurship and civil society, working on a voluntary basis.
The W20 was founded in Australia in 2014, and it officially began operations in Turkey in 2015. It then expanded to China, Germany, Argentina, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Indonesia, and India. The Brazilian delegation has been attending the W20 since 2017. By 2024, we hope to have created a fair and sustainable world, which is only possible through gender equality.
